On the 12th December 2007 the session of the
Central Board of the United Nations Association of Russia (UNA-Russia) took
place in Moscow,
in the building of MGIMO (U).

Instead of attending the Embassy in Moscow or the Consulates-General in St Petersburg or Ekaterinburg, all visa applications, irrespective of nationality, will have their fingerscans collected and digital photograph taken as part of the application process at their respective Visa Application Centre ( VAC ).
29 November 2007 a seminar “Thinking of
expanding your business in Russia?”
took place at EBRD headquarters in London.
The seminar was organized in order to introduce the specifics of investing on Russian
market, what kind of problems the companies are facing, and what are the
opportunities, offered by Russian market. The project “Tehnopark Vyazniki”,
offering full support in construction of production facilities in Russia, was
presented as an answer to the above stated question.
The World Money Show
took place in London
on the 30th November and 1st December with EER Magazine taking part as a media partner. This event is
traditionally held in the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre. In the panel
sessions the open discussions among the specialists, competent in different
areas of investment took place. Apart from the panel session, presentations of
broker and investment firms and live trading demonstrations were held. The
visitors to The World Money Show were mainly potential investors, traders,
speakers, representatives of the press and business.
Analysts are unanimous that the Rostov region has long been one of the leading industrial regions both in the Russian South and in the entire Russian Federation.
